Used to cut 1.5" foam board insulation from Lowes for insulating garage door. Used with ROMECH Foam Cutter Pro Electric Hot Knife, 200W Air Cooled Styrofoam Cutting Tool Kit- with Heavy-duty Case Blades & Accessories RM-009 (200W Air Cooled) Recommend using good ventilation depending on what you cut. I made a jig using an old scrap of MDF with factory straight edge, a 2x4 for spacer, and a drywall square. Screwed the 2x4 to MDF aligned on straight edge of MDF. Clamped on drywall square and now i get perfect vertical cuts and 90 degree edges. I was going to buy a second blade incase i ever wanted a fresh one, but blade works very well and after cutting all the foam for the garage door, its still in great condition (Just a little sticky). Can be heated and cleaned with solvent. Would recommend buying again. Wish it came included with the Electric Knife kit.
