The 4 oz should be about $3!!!** A: Union Rubber the inventors of Best-Test and Bestine solvent, closed down 7+ years back and sold their trademarks and equipment to another company. I know as I worked there 18 years before they closed. Chances are if you ever called, I was the one answering the phone and taking orders and all that. **Q: Can i use this best-test paper cement to glue the rubber sole to a leather walk shoes?** A: I've tried it and it works for a short time. I would recommend a professional shoe repair store. (They are pretty hard to find.) I'm sure that they would have a stronger glue. Also, you can search for a leather / rubber contact glue that would probably be better. **Q: will this work on foam** A: I have never tried to use this product on foam. It is a must for cementing paper together. I've used this product as a graphic designer for many years (Not the other look alike rubber cements). **Q: How is it used ? Apply to one or both surfaces? are clamps needed? No instructions on container!** A: As a professional artist I love this product. I've used it for many years. You don't have to glue both sides, just apply it to your paper plus you have a little time to move it around and it will hold. If you wish to remove the paper you just glued it will seldom leave a mark and you can glue it again. I was very sad when this glue was not available because I found nothing that would replace it.
