It has a very lovely naturally tapered tip, that comes to a very nice point. It has just the right amount of snap: less than a synthetic, but more than squirrel. It holds a good amount of pigment & water for a size 8. I typically use larger brushes, but didn't want to break the bank until I knew it was worth it, so I got this size 8 with my Amazon rewards points. I did a lot of research before I decided that Escoda would probably be the best fit for me, & like all of their others that I have, this one is amazing too!
