After following the instructions to clean the kettle before use I noticed faint, black dots appear on the bottom of the kettle after first boil and I could not wipe them away. Tried again and it still remained as you can see in the pictures. I even used vinegar and lemon juice but once I used water the dots appeared again.The seller eventually got back to me as I did try to contact them first. They told me it is normal for scaling to form over time. Remember I had only just received the kettle and boiled water 1 time when it appeared.Not going to risk the health of my family over this.
