No sub par materials used here… The ‘English Equestrian Leather’ used to make this fine collar is “Top Notch”!!! The heavy duty stitching looks like it will last a lifetime, and the solid brass hardware is not only another attractive element, but also is‘made to last’ through out this collar’s lifetime… All of our ‘Goldens’ that we have owned over the years have had this sort of collar, but one made with this standard of quality was becoming increasingly hard to find… Needless to say coming across a company who makes a product as highly crafted as this one, was a real surprise!!! The rolled leather slides under and is barely perceptible on the back of his neck. I like the color. It’s a deep burgundy. I think it was called mahogany. Since he’s still a puppy, albeit an 85 pound one, his collar doubles as a handle when he needs a reminder of his manners. He leather is beautifully finished.
