I wish the twin sized came with two pillow cases because I have a lot of pillows, but one advantage of already having the queen one in the same color is I was able to reuse those pillow cases. This quilt is cheap and it is not quite a real quilt since the designs are just punch-outs, but it is very light weight and durable. I have washed in just my in-unit laundry with cold water and even put it in the dryer a little, and it is perfectly fine. I hate being too warm when I sleep, and this quilt is very light and breathable. It is much more breathable than my previous polyster summer quilt. When it is warm, this and a jersey bed sheet works great, and when it's cold, I just add a weighted blanket and/or other blankets on top to keep warm. By itself, the quilt is not very soft, but that is solved with a soft bedsheet and it is not very noticeable if you lay/sit on top of it during the day. I got the aqua/ color, and it matches with my room decor perfectly, though the color is not quite as bright as it is in the pictures. The twin size perfectly covers my twin bed, with an overhang covering the 11" mattress sides completely, down to the top of the bedframe - which goes well with a platform bed or with a bedskirt.The fabric is soft and cuddlely, even before I washed it (in cold wash, gentle cycle; low heat in dryer - came out beautifully, zero lint, zero shrinkage).
