They used to not include sucralose, but got sucked into the how-cheap-can-we-go marketing talk a number of years ago. Sucralose is nothing more than a sugar molecule wrapped in a chlorine molecule (which is why your body rejects it). Yes, it may have started out as sugar (as they insist in their marketing), but the chlorine kind of wipes out any "natural-ness" of it and gives quite a few people headaches. It's not so much a "bad wrap" as it is bad science. It's strange that no chemist on the development team will go near it, but was quicklightened approved by the FDA. **Q: which of the 4 MCTs does the product contain? C6, 8, 10, or 12 or is it a blend.?** A: I belief I saw a review online that said it also has 10 and 12 but that it is highest in 8 which is the most beneficial. Quest should do more to promote this on their website if true as people are beginning to want this info... Ingredient info on their website is lacking. **Q: Please let ne know when there is no sucralose in the ingedients?** A: The product contains both Sucralose and Stevia as artificial sweeteners. **Q: Is this a source of exogenous ketones?** A: A single serving (i.e., one scoop) will not significantly increase ketones; however, higher intake (e.g., ≥8 servings) may effectively raises blood ketone levels. This dosage is bit extreme fat wise but you shouldn't have any of the adverse side effects frequently experienced with excessive MCT oil use.
