It did a great job of that, easily making about a liter of coffee at a time - enough for me and my husband to both have about 2 big mugs, while keeping the coffee hot. But where I’ve really come to appreciate it is over the last few months, when I started using it daily at home almost every day. It works so well and is so easy! I use an electric kettle to boil water while I rinse out the metal filter from yesterday’s coffee grounds — takes very little time to clean and I can rinse the old grounds directly into my garbage disposal. No need to buy new filters or expensive pods. It only takes another minute or two to pour in the boiling water over fresh grounds, stir, then press. The coffee stays hot on our kitchen counter for hours, so I can make coffee when I get up and it’s still available when my husband gets up a bit later.
