**Q: Is this a "High quality FOOD GRADE essential oil" since I would like to start making my own toothpaste? Thanks**
A: It's 100% oil. You could def. make toothpaste out of it. It's very strong. Won't need much. I put a few drops in my lip gloss. It tastes good, and Olympus my lips.

**Q: Can this be used on the tongue?**
A: I use a drop in a kettle (or cup) of herb tea (I make my ownix) along with lemon or lemon EO and everyone asks what tea I used.

**Q: Is peppermint oil different than spearmint oil? I have spearmint oil but I'm looking for something sweeter to pair with some fruity essential oils.**
A: They are a bit different, although they do some similar things. Both great for tummy troubles, to uplift and energize and to clear stuffiness, these essential oils do differ in their constituents. I find our Peppermint sweeter, like gum or candy. Spearmint is kidsafe and Peppermint is not a kidsafe oil.

**Q: can this be used to scent homemade candles?**
A: I would assume so, but I don't do candles.  Bought this for headaches.

This Essesntial oil is worth every penny. It helps me relax and with concentration. i often put a few drops in my shampoo and soaps. It makes me feel refresed in the morning. The thing is these olis have many uses so if one use seems pointless there still another use. The Many Uses of Peppermint Essential Oil by Carrie Raab on January 19, 2012 Peppermint Essential Oil Peppermint has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion is peppermint. Peppermint is widely used in tea as a garnish and is used in herbal teas because of its therapeutic benefits. Peppermint essential oil that is therapeutic grade, is highly concentrated and extremely powerful! ONE drop of Young Living Peppermint oil is equivalent to 28 cups of tea! Can you believe that? That is amazing! Can you imagine having to drink 28 cups of tea to get the same benefits as one drop of essential oil. No thanks! My favorite way to use peppermint oil is in my coffee! I put a drop into my Gano Cafe classic black coffee every morning. It is like having a peppermint mocha from a coffee shop. I love not only the taste but also smelling the peppermint oil vapors coming out of the cup. It wakes me up, gives me energy and helps curb my appetite. I also love the powerful effects peppermint oil has on my sinuses, as well as my husband and children. We have not had a sinus infection in a year, and my son was prone to them 2-3 times a year! Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil Uses: 1.Add a drop of peppermint essential oil to herbal tea to help aid normal digestion and to relieve heartburn. 2.Massage several drops of peppermint essential oil on the abdomen, place a drop on wrists, or inhale to soothe the minor stomach discomfort associated with travel. 3.Rub one drop of peppermint essential oil on the temples, forehead, over the sinuses (careful to avoid contact with your eyes), and on the back of the neck to relieve head pressure/headache. 4.Place 2 drops of peppermint essential oil on the tongue and rub another drop of oil under the nose to help improve concentration and alertness. 5.Apply peppermint essential oil to the back of the neck and shoulders throughout the day to keep energy up. 6.Inhale peppermint essential oil, apply topically to your temples or neck, or put a drop on your tongue or in water to jump-start your morning routine. Excellent to do prior to working out! 7.Diffuse or inhale peppermint essential oil mid-morning to curb the desire to snack. 8.Inhale peppermint essential oil or rub a drop on to your abdomen to soothe minor stomach discomfort. 9.Rub 4-6 drops of Peppermint oil in the palm and rub over the stomach and around the naval to relieve indigestion, flatulence and diarrhea. 10.Massage several drops of Peppermint oil on an area of injury or chronic inflammation. 11.Apply Peppermint oil immediately to an injured area (not broken skin) to relieve pain. If there is a cut, apply the Peppermint oil around but not on the open wound. 12.Rub several drops of Peppermint oil on the bottoms of the feet to reduce fever. 13.Apply a drop of Peppermint oil topically on unbroken skin to stop itching. 14.For poison ivy or poison oak, apply Peppermint oil on location neat or dilute with V-6 vegetable mixing oil. 15.Inhale Peppermint oil before and during a workout to boost your mood and reduce fatigue. 16.To stop hiccups, apply a drop of Peppermint oil on each side of the fifth cervical vertebra (up three notches from the large vertebra at the base of the neck). 17.Diffuse Peppermint oil in the room while studying to improve concentration and accuracy.
