I tried to use this with PC and Raspberry PI 3b. PC works fine, USB stops working as sone as you plug the Raspberry power in. Screen blinks coms then back without the USB part working. I then tried to feed both the switch and the RPI from the same USB power supply, to alleviate potential ground issues. Didn't work either. I use it to connect my work laptop to my monitor at home, which is also connected to my personal desktop.Things to look out for: If you switch from your PC1 to PC2 and it doesn't switch sometimes, it might be a faulty cable. I use it to share my desktop monitor bw my desktop and laptop. The display switches witha remote or a button on the switch (thank goodness because I lost the remote). I have had no issues. Set-up was 10 to 20 min, mostly digging out cables. I have a new monitor and plan on buying something similar, from the same company. This really solved a huge problem for me.
