Looking back, I wish I had picked a hardcover book instead of a paperback. Hardcover books are easier to keep open on a specific page. Also, the inside has 3 pages for the table of contents so that should be useful. I am vegan and my husband has Celiac - we make all our own food and we modify all our recipes to fit our needs.I have a folder of screenshot and then had to remember what I did to modify the food. Now I have a place to do it. Better than a giant recipe book.Some people complained about the print but mine came out fine. It has a table of contents (I recommend writing in pencil so you can erase when you add new things). They looked great upon arrival. I got 2 pages of recipes wrote into the first book and then pages started falling out. I'm afraid to write in the rest of them. I understand that they don't cost a fortune to buy, but I expected them to stand up to a little use before falling apart. So I guess I will be tearing this one apart the rest of the way and making it a spiral bound.
