I bought these for my 3 year old to help prevent further development of bunions. Without these, he puts too much pressure on his great toe and he started developing bunions because of this. He's been wearing orthotics in his shoes for a year or so now and not only have the bunions not progressed, I think as his foot continues to grow the bunions are improving due to proper pressure and support from the orthotics.
