It doesn't stop, but you can tell it weakens and needs charging. . After that I charge it overnight then it's ready to go again. I highly recommend it. **Q: Does the new model have a spinning corner sweep brush?** A: No... and my wife told me to mention that it is not nearly as good as the previous model in all respects, not just the spinning corner sweep brush being missing. **Q: So the handle keeps breaking off after one month of use even though the vacuum itself lasts for several months.
