The honey goes in from the extractor easily and without excess spillover and mess. The lids are tight and do not leak. I really like having the little honey dippers as an added perk for all the people who buy honey from me. Someone mentioned the lids not fitting correctly, but I found that if you put them on straight and tightened I had no problem with the lids. I liked the larger size lid. The smaller metal lids get stuck on with honey and can be difficult to remove.
