## Questions & Answers

**Q: I Hate onions!!.Are there onions included in the sauce?**
A: its a good sloppy joe...BUT... there are onions

**Q: Why do you advertise products you don't have?????**
A: Products can be seasonal, where 2-100 cases are sent, and depending on sales, may not be sent again.
The pertinent information will not be sent until just before that season, next year.
So, no- they don't know on a regular basis.
As for a basis like this with the killer zombie virus: our borders are closed. All of the neat stuff we love, like toilet paper, is made in China or Mexico. Except for Angel Soft, and they can't cover us all.

**Q: do you need a can opener**
A: Yes, the can I have require a can opener. Not all cans have the pull top opener yet. I hope this helps. Jason

**Q: Sauce pores out of the can without help. What did you do with the thick and chunky?**
A: Hi there - We're sorry to hear that. We take the quality of our products very seriously and would like to gather some more details from you. At your convenience, please give us a call at 800-730-8700 so we can help. Thanks!

One of my late son's greatest pleasures was a giant, overfilled hamburger bun with ground angus and manwich. I make it in his honor to this day, and it's still one of life's simple pleasures - a great, basic sloppy joe.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just the right balance for me of spices and tangyness without being overwhelming.
*by C***R on August 30, 2019*

I love sloppy joes, it may be a baby boomer thing, but I grew up with them and I like it. Manwich has made variants on this but this is the best. They make a bold version that overwhelms me, and they make a chunky version that has too much tang to it. The original is best. I recommend you brown a pound of 80/20 ground beef or chuck nothing leaner nor with more fat. I then fill the pan with hot water to pour off the fat, and strain the beef. Prior to cooking the beef I chop a yellow or red union finely, and caramelize it with a little high grade butter. I add that to the cooked strained ground beef and a little salt and pepper, then stir in the Manwich. I reduce heat and reduce the liquid so it's a little less sloppy, and apply scoops to toasted hamburger buns. It can be had with our without cheese, if you don't have a family and live as a single, when I get tired of eating the leftover as sandwiches, I use to top hot dogs. It goes well here with cheese, and you can mix a little chili with the beef. This only works because the original is less tangy, if you try it with the other flavors, it's just not as good. Recommended.
