They are not roasted.  They came in a resealable bag and for the price which are lowest online, they are good.  Do they taste fresh?  Well, it's raw nut, so not really.  They don't taste as if you just cracked them out of its shell.  Lot of geniuses online trash reviews after ordering raw nuts and then being surprised that it's little soft..  so many smart people.  I order them again as long as their price stay the same.Edit (1/23/19): Price shot up by $5 recently.  Time to move on~
