They are great. They don't lose any air, warp, nothing of the sort. They are solidly constructed. As a matter of fact, I have only had to add a little air once--in only one ball, and this was after bouncing my baby on it for 2 months--in the entire past year and half that I have had them. These are amazing, and the best balls out there. I used them throughout my pregnancy and labor, for many months after birth, bouncing my newborn--and now for exercise. They have NO smell right out of the package, and are healthy and safe. The PVC balls you are talking about have phthalates and other carcinogenic chemicals that are not healthy or safe for pregnant women, or anybody for that matter. These are excellent-quality, sturdy, extremely safe and very well made (in the USA) balls. I couldn't be happier with this product! Highly recommended.
