The one remote can be programmed to turn on other units if you decide to purchase them. **Q: What kind of wattage can it handle. Can it ne used with power tools?** A: Hi there. This adapter's instructions states: Maximum load 13A, 3250 Watts. Do not exceed the total maximum load. As far as power tools are converned, just make sure it is rated at 13A and the Wattage does not exceed 3250, then it should be fine but make sure ithat if you want to use two tools at the same time, they do not exceed a combined Wattage of 3250 Watts. The adapter has a 13A fuse installed which is useful. Just a note, if you like the idea of the remote control, bear in mind that you cannot switch off the three sockets independently, only all on or all off.
