It is spicy hot, but not fire breathing dragon hot. If I eat it straight, my nose runs a little but I don't grab the milk. Hubby likes it in small quantities and he wouldn't touch a jalapeno. If your restaurant has a hot scale from 1-5, then this, eaten straight, is a strong 3, maybe a weak 4.
