It was way cheaper than the most popular one (it’s the one that has the name scratched out) and I wanted to compare the two since returns were free for me. So yeah, this one is very solid....you can literally knock on the side of it. The other “popular” one is more soft-sided all around. This one lacks a little depth from the “popular” one but makes up for that with the sturdiness of the inside. The inserts are way more solid than the “popular” one and they are removable just like the “popular” one. Exact same makeup brush inserts too. I decided to keep this one. And you save over $10.00 buying this one.
