Review: Works Perfectly! - I bought this for when my daughter visits as she likes cold brewed coffee and this takes up less space than the special pitcher she had brought to my house which I sent home with her when I found out hers had broken. This fits perfectly in a wide mouth Ball jar that I have and she says the fine mesh on this insert works BETTER than the dedicated cold brew pitcher because NONE of the grounds get into the coffee. I store this in a Ball jar that I already had in my cupboard so it is far better storage-wise in my small kitchen AND, apparently, makes a better brew! I suppose it would also be great for cold brewed loose tea, or even to put aromatics in a tall Ball jar for flavored water. FYI: The filter holds about 4 oz. of ground coffee.
