## Description

The Air King 9214 Industrial Grade Floor Fan is used to cool and circulate air in industrial or commercial settings including, loading docks, warehouses, health clubs and other commercial spaces. This fan is for use on floors, making it suitable for areas such as offices, stores and garages. The 9214 features a pivoting head for directional air flow, a powerful motor and steel construction. This fan is the perfect solution for instant air circulation and cooling. Air King added a powder coated finish to the blade guard and motor housing for years of optimal performance. This unit meets the made in America requirements of ARRA and complies with UL and OSHA regulations and is tested in accordance with AMCA standard 230-99. It comes with a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Air King equipped this model with a 3-speed, fully enclosed motor for quiet operation with permanent lubrication and a split capacitor. This 3-speed settings deliver cubic feet per minute of 1650, 1470, and 1180 on high, medium and low and RPMs of 1498, 1296, and 934 on high, medium and low. The motor is rated at .6, .5 and .4 amps and 63, 56, and 48 watts at high, medium and low. The industrial grade fan motor means high velocity air circulation. This unit features a steel blade guard and a handle for easy transport. The blade guard, motor housing and handle are finished in black. Includes a 9 foot, 3-conductor SJT type power cord and measures 18.75-inches (L) by 9-inches (W) by 18-inches (H) with and 13.6-pound shipping weight. The 9214 produces 58, 55, and 48 DBA on high, medium and low. The 1/20 HP, 120-volt ball-bearing motor is controlled by a rear-mounted switch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Omigosh!!!!!.... This Thing really puts out the Air

When I received the fan I was pretty surprised at the packaging, because I could tell thru the box that there was no cushioning materials used, because I could directly feel the parts of the fan thru the box. Omigosh I thought, I just got a fan that is going to be all dented,broken or scratched up.That is, until I opened the box and could feel with my hands the quality and sturdiness of the fan itself. Not a scratch on it, because it really looks and feels like you would have to try pretty darn hard to dent this baby because it feels rock solid.It is an extremely attractive looking fan as well, and so I thought I might as well go ahead and turn it on...Wow!!! After I plugged it in and turned the setting dial The fun began. It puts out an INCREDIBLE AMOUNT of airflow and so I thought it must be turned up to Maximum Setting. Boy was I surprised to find that it was actually on the lowest setting it has. After trying all 3 settings(low,med,Hi) I doubt I will need anything but the lowest setting, because that one seems to put out hurricane-force winds. This is a great fan for hot Climates like mine and I feel this will pay for itself in a few years by lowing my cooling bills.Basically, what I am trying to say, is that this is the most attractive Hi-quality SUPER POWERED fan I have ever owned in my life. I have owned at least 10-15 store quality fans before, because I always bought those retail store fans that don't circulate air that well, or last long, and the motor gives out in a year or 2.Granted, I have only owned it for 24 hours now but I like to think I know quality when I see it. It does make a fair amount of noise, but actually LESS than I would expect for a fan of this power. I would estimate it is about 25-30% more powerful than what I was expecting to get. I did not really think the noise was that bad, and will put it in the kitchen area when watching tv so as not to overpower the tv audio. After trying it right next to the tv on low setting, I found that just by cranking the tv up just a bit louder than normal, I could hear the tv pretty well.I was so impressed with this fan that I IMMEDIATELY bought the 14" floor model, also made by Air King. After just feeling the quality of the fan, I would be really shocked if this fan does not last 10-15 yrs.....Sure, you can buy a fan for 1/3 the price, but I have bought about 4 of those lower quality fans in the last 6 years, and they all went belly-up, or did not do a good job of cooling/air circulation....I could have actually SAVED MONEY by just buying a fan like this Air King in the first place, and not having to buy 4 low quality fans.I am very very leery of some of the Chinese-made electrical devices, and having it MADE IN AMERICA with superior quality is a nice bonus for me.If you need a quality fan, Just buy it and love it....Like I did

Best fan I have purchased. Works incredibly well. I use this in a 20x20 garage to work out in. I'm in South Florida so it gets very hot here.

I decided to go with the 14" and do not regret it. This size works great on a floor or set across from you on a large table or counter top. If you were to set it on your desk and aim it at you your eyes would quickly dry up even with it on speed 1 because it moves a good quantity of air. The tilt mechanism allows for the fan to face slightly downward, or it can be tilted just beyond aiming straight up. I am very satisfied with being able to tilt this fan at these angles, and it stays in place well once tilted. The fan feels very solid and well made. The picture looks slightly deceiving, but the blades are black to match the grille, although they appear glossier than the grille does since they're a flatter surface.The power cable is black, 9ft long and thick like you would expect a power tool or a quality extension cord to be. The motor sits behind the cage and is enclosed very well, yet still vented, so that dirt and hair should not easily bind it up. The grille, blades, and stand are all metal. The rear enclosure around the motor with the speed dial is plastic. It has rubber(?) feet to keep it in place and a handle that makes it easy to move since it is quite heavy compared to a plastic fan.I have had it on the floor of my room in 90 degree F weather on speed 1 and been very comfortable with it blowing on me while I'm sitting at my desk.Readings from my "KILL A WATT" on US 120v (115v measured at the outlet)Speed 1: 0.43 Amp, 49.5 WattSpeed 2: 0.48 Amp, 55.2 WattSpeed 3: 0.57 Amp, 61.6 WattPossible Cons:* The speed dial goes 0 (off), 3, 2, 1 which is not very intuitive for humans, but the fan doesn't come up to speed immediately so when you blip it past speed 3 you don't have a hurricane of air coming at you.* This fan is not quiet on speeds 2 or 3, but it moves good air.* Heavy, but it's also well madeConclusion: I would recommend this fan to anyone looking for a floor or table fan that can blow right on them or move air from across the room. The speed range is great and the fan is well made in the USA. Save yourself some money in the long run and buy this instead of a cheaper fan that will crack or get dirt or hair in the motor. I hope to find a window fan of similar quality.
