I received this cd in the mail the day that me and my ex broke up. I was so angry that I could not sleep. I was surprised at how wired I was because I barely slept the night before we broke up because I came home late because I was out with him and woke up early to get some things done--I didn't even have time to eat! After the break up I didn't even have an appetite but I had the energy to go run a mile or so. I decided to go ahead and listen to the meditation cd since I was too upset to go anywhere, call anyone or even read. I went from wired, and angry to fast asleep. How that happened I am not entirely sure but it definitely gets 5 stars for helping me get some much needed rest. I now listen to it at bedtime. I still have not been able to make it through the cd without going fast asleep. It works wonders for the times I need to sleep before work but not tired. As for my health, I am not as stressed out and I seem to be doing better at moving on. I did not have any ailments, so I cannot advise about the healing of those ailments. Additionally, I am shocked at how great I sleep with this cd, and how well rested I feel when I wake up. The one or two nights I have slept without it was not very restful--which is not too common for me, I usually always tired. Hopefully, I will be able to sleep without it in the future and not feel fatigued during the day. Until then I will play this cd every night. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kelly Makes the BEST Meditation CD's in the WORLD! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2009* I was hesitant to buy another guided meditation CD because I have bought so many before that didn't do anything for me, even from masters like Deepak Chopra (I still think he is a genius though). But no one can compare to Kelly. Her voice is like an angel and she uses some specialized equipment so you hear different words going into each of your ears at the same time. Also, after track one which is the guided meditation, you then hear 30 minutes of binural beats which ALWAYS lulls me into sleep, and I have a bit of insomnia! When I read all the reviews people wrote about her CD's I was skeptical. Yet, I bought a few, then a few more. In addition to this one, I also have the Universal Mind Meditation, Attract Wealth, Stress Free, and Guided Meditation. Last night I listened to the "Secret Universal Mind Meditation" which is suppose to open you up to be more intuitive. This morning I had to call the doctor for a biopsy result. I listened to the CD right before bed and fell asleep to it. When I just started to awaken, but still in a sort of alpha state I kept hearing in my head "you are fine, you are healthy, don't worry about your results." Sure enough, when I called the doctor, the test was negative. I plan to purchase every single CD Kelly makes. Buy as many as you can afford, you will not regeret it! There is not another product out there like this. I have only listened to this and the secret mind so far, but they are purely brilliant! I wish Kelly would make some more! Please do so Kelly! How about one for procrastination and creativeness, I think we could all use that. Thank you for this wonderful gift! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Guiding You Along...... *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2012* I like that in the first part of the CD, she talks you through a guided imagery of a "place" you can go to relax, rejuvenate, and heal your mind and body. I need someone to take me there, as I get distracted very quickly. The breathing exercises help you slow down so that you can follow her along the journey she creates for you to totally relax yourself. After that, the music with the binural beats comes on, but I fell asleep. I have difficulty falling asleep no matter how tired I get, but this really did relax me.The only thing that was a little weird at first, was the postive affirmations coming from both sides of the surround sound, but if you know they are on the disc, and expect to hear something a little different, it won't come as a surprise. After a few times, you look forward to hearing those on both sides of your headphones (and brain) and you kind of feel it sinking in. They are not a negative for me, but it's just a little heads up.I would buy others in her series, but I think this is fairly universal. One other review mentioned that the sound was scary, and this was not scary to me. I am a chicken. I actually bought another CD from another artist/company that really did have scary sounds and I gave it away.
