Review: Two years later still perfect on motorized bike. UPDATE - So I ordered all the parts for my Dad to build a motorized bike, I did my research. And there is probably a heavier duty one for that.but this is the one he liked. We built the bike off of a 1937 Columbia, and used the best of the best parts and upgrades. He has put over 3800 miles on it. YES miles NOT kilometers. I think the key to its long life is locktight the bolts after setup. We used the carbon fiber headstock shims. But any will do. Shim if needed. After 2500 miles he did brake the spring retaining bolt. But no big deal we replaced it with a chrome grade 8 for $2. And remember this is not designed for motorized bikes. On a regular Bicycle this bolt would not have broken. This thing is awesome, it went far beyond our expectations. And is still working perfectly the chrome plating is still perfect. And just a note,, don't be the person who orders this and thinks "it's suspension" and take it off road, brake it and then leave a bad review. This is for street bikes not mountain bikes.🧐 UPDATE still perfect

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two years later still perfect on motorized bike. UPDATE
*by C***8 on March 14, 2021*

So I ordered all the parts for my Dad to build a motorized bike, I did my research. And there is probably a heavier duty one for that.but this is the one he liked. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Awesome addition to my bike! UPDATE! NOT SAFE! DESIGN FLAW!
*by B***N on July 17, 2024*

I had an older springer fork on this bike before and it just wasn't quite right! I was anxious to get this new set in and I was very happy with it! It's much more sturdy and the bike handles so well! She is a very fast one! On a side note I love the magwheels but I had an Autes 10 gauge spoke rim on this a little while until a bad mishap and now I have a diff rim... but highly recommend both the springer fork and that Autes wheel/rim! Very well ma0de Both of them! I have a 30 mil very colorful carb bilet flywheel, bilet rod, 28lb springs, a mini dirt bike throttle (26 dollars as opposed to 10 ish for the cheap ones very well worth the extra coin) A torque converter belt drive and a CNC drive sprocket! I'm sure I'm forgetting something but I love this bike and I'd hope in a few I will have all done I want.. but these forks are great! Update!!!!!! If u care considering buying read this first!- so an update on these forks! I had a motorized bike that I was gifted from my family.... the bike u see in my video and pics is the same frame and everything else literally every part was upgrades by myself personally! Now that said the bike did have these springer style forks on it before but they didn't ever ride correctly! They seemed bent and the wheel would wobble back and forth between the mount! Anyhow I bought these and reluctantly they seemed to be much sturdier and safe! Well... they are not! There is a point where the forks meet the head tube that goes through the frame of the bike... this point the forks look over tightened bc it pinches the circular shape of the tube! Once this is sacrificed there is no integrity in the steel any longer! Steel is usually strong bc it keeps its form and a circle shape is most definitely strong! Here at the point though it comes from the factory just like this! The other forks I had before I could tell this is where the problem laid but these new ones seemed much more sturdy and I though maybe the old ones just wore to the point of not going back to proper! Now some people will say it's bc I have a big motor that they failed etc.. well funny thing is I wasn't riding the bike with the motor when I had a very bad crash... I wasn't even peddling the bike... I was standing off set to one side pushing the bike like a scooter when a peddle threaded and came off... at any point I would have just slipped and my foot touched down or maybe fallen at a rate of 3 maybe 4 miles an hour! Although this was not the case! My peddle broke off and I shifted places turning my handlebars ever so slightly and causing my forks to just not be running facing straight! The forks did what the other ones did when they weren't running "perfectly straight"! Even when u turn a bike lowrider style or motor bike, peddle bike u lean into a turn and most times barely turn the handle bars! But u also lean and this displaces ur center of gravity and u lean into the same direction u turn taking the stress off of the forks! But if u deviate from that in any way shape or form and u get a surprise in one form or the other just as I did... u will see these forks will ultimately meet the same result! Anyhow sorry for the long explanation but this is a design flaw and it cannot be fixed ive tried everything with the last pair and I can fix damn near anything! With minimal tools if necessary! Now these forks look great the ride nice when they work! But with a design flaw like this and having the very same issue with the only 2 pairs I have ever owned I would not deem these safe! They are more for show bikes and lowriders that are a flaunting piece not performance part! I will post pics so all can see my issue.. and they are installed perfect I didn't miss anything that would cause it to be a user error... I even have a mag wheel on the front which is CNC machined and straight as an arrow and even after the crash the rim is still straight as an arrow! But I couldn't imagine if I was actually riding my bike with the motor and this happen my bike goes upwards of 60 mph and I could have been injured beyond measure even killed! I didn't even do anything to tighten this point or adjust it... just put lock tight on the threads and made sure they were snugged up... just as u should always check in case the manufacturer didn't quite tighten anything or whatever its just smart to do so with anything u buy especially when u can be injured if a seller isn't as meticulous as one should be! Anyhow I'm only posting this bc I don't want to see anyone hurt or worse! Maybe they will consider this and fix this flaw as these are beautiful forks it's a shame they just don't hold up to the endurance test! Anyhow I'm a avid bike rider I have road bikes, a full suspension electric bike, a cross country MTB, downhill bike etc! And I ride very very often! I'm very mechanically savy and have always been able to fix just about anything! This comes from a knowledgeable source in myself and I only pass knowledge as to correct or improve something not to just be a little whiner bc something didn't work for me! I hope this helps some and maybe we see a correction in this design in the future! Happy trails and safe riding to all! Check pics for visual updated pics post crash no.2-5! U can see even at a slow mph I sustained Decent enough injuries and this pic I took 4 days after the crash I debated on posting anything at all! I just felt compelled
