Should be fine with hot lights too since they were used many years in Hollywood. Just make sure they are not close to or laying on a hot bulb! **Q: I'm confused about the size. It says 10*12 on the title, but then 12*12 in the product description. What size is it?** A: I just received a package (April 30, 2015) and measured, they are 10"x12" as indicated in the title, not 12x12 as others are saying. Perhaps the product has changed in the past year? Mine is definitely a package from Lee Filters including a clear plastic storage pouch, which is also sized for 10x12 gels.
