**Q: Can you use oil immersion lens with this microscope**
A: Yes, as it clearly states about 5 times in the description above.

**Q: what light bulb do I buy for this microscope...we are in Tanzania and have blown both bulbs...so I need to know quickly**
A: You can buy replacement bulbs at "Home Science Tools"--site is on the web. The bulb is either a 15 or 20 w tungsten at 115v

**Q: Is this good for a beginner? or should i get a different one?**
A: This is definitely a good microscope for a beginner. We will also recommend to get some prepared and blank slides to along with the microscope to start with :)

**Q: How do you use it to see bacteria in pond water. I tried the 100x with oil and still dont see any.**
A: IF your microscope actually works, and mine did NOT work on 100x power, you would use a concave slide and a slipcover.
