## Description

The AmScope SE400Z professional stereo microscope has interchangeable pairs of 10x and 20x widefield eyepieces, a 1x objective, LED lighting, and a boom-arm stand. The binocular viewing head has an interpupillary range of 50 to 77mm and a 30-degree inclination to reduce eye and neck strain. The interchangeable pairs of WF10x18mm and WF20x10mm eyepieces combine with the 1x objective to provide 10x and 20x magnification, and a longer working distance for inspecting large-scale specimens that require handling or repair. Dioptric adjustment accommodates individual eye-strength differences. A stereo microscope, sometimes called an inspection or dissection microscope, has low magnification and a long working distance that enables users to manipulate the object being inspected. The 1W LED light is mounted on a flexible gooseneck to enable users to direct the light as needed. An LED light source provides bright, cool light for working with temperature-sensitive specimens. **Q: Does it come with a Digital Microscope Imager (To see the image on a PC screen)?**
A: no

**Q: What is the eyepiece aperture size, power & outside diameter for eye relief. I may also need 30X, 40X or 50X!**
A: After seeing one for circuit board repair, I had to get it too. Quite impressed with its quality. 10X was good enough, did not even need 20X for this application. I can send you pictures of the eyepiece for details.

**Q: I am blind in one eye. Will this microscope work for me?**
A: I think it will. Reason is, I have used my iPhone held over one side to take neat pictures of the stuff I'm working on.

**Q: Can I get at least 20X up to perhaps 50X to identify fractures in the tungsten jaws that hold needles to sew up wounds?**
A: The max magnification you can get on this scope is 20X (with 20X eyepieces). We don't have 2X objective lens for this model. You might want to check our boom stand stereoscopes. They are more flexible for your application, and they have higher magnification level as well. An example for you: SM-3TZZ.
