Review: Great value - I bought two 12 packs for a move. They worked great. They are a little thin compared to the quilted moving blankets you typically find, but they did the job. They are easily torn as I caught a blanket under the wheels of a dresser. I want to turn them into bedding for my dogs. Not sure if they will hold up in the wash as they are kind of a spun/blended material and not woven. The neighbor's cat has already started to sleep in a pile of them that I have in the garage waiting to be washed.

**Q: Can they be washed/dryer dried?**
A: If you are looking for moving blankets that you reuse so much that they would eventually require laundering, these are not the right product. The material is similar to a carpet pad. I wouldn't recommend putting it in a washer or dryer.

**Q: Does anyone know the approximate nrc i could expect from these blankets?  i plan to put two layers up, covering an entire attached wall.**
A: They are very thin and light.  I used them for sound dampening in a ceiling, but wish I had bought much thicker and heavier material.

**Q: What are these made of? I see it's a composite material but it is safe to handle with your bare hands?**
A: Yes they are fine handling them with your hands.  They are pretty thick and work great.

**Q: Whats is the color**
A: Medium gray.  These are nice moving blankets for the price.  Pretty thick.

I bought two 12 packs for a move. They worked great. They are a little thin compared to the quilted moving blankets you typically find, but they did the job. Opening these new stink something awful. Aired them out for days before use. They did work well for moving over 600 miles et protected our items well. However, I would be careful on what surfaces you place them on. For instants we did not pay attention to the soft side versus the string side, and in the Texas heat being in storage for two months the adhesive they use to keep all the string together melted and stuck to any surface it was on. Thankfully the goo-fuzz came off easily with a cleaning wipe that had citric acid in it like Armen Hammer wipes. I was grateful for the price and the quantity and the ability to use them again in the future.
