But they were packed so well that I think they would have been fine if it was 32 and snowing out when they were put on my porch, at least for a few hours. Sturdy cardboard box to begin with, then a layer of folded brown paper like butcher's paper weight, then a layer of strips of crinckly cut paper about an inch deep, then the 20 plants lined up inside just like the picture shows, each in their own pot, and HEALTHY and fresh looking, not one withered leaf, no spots or defects, nothing broken, a tiny bit of soil was disturbed and on the leaves of two of the plants. The instructions say to brush that off with a soft brush but as I was going to water them and set them in a tray for a day or two until I'm ready to put them in permanent pots for display, I just rinsed the dirt off those two while I was watering the whole bunch. I am a tiny bit disappointed that I didn't get one of the dark maroon spikey plants, but they don't guarantee the exact assortment each time. That is why the price is so reasonable. Maybe next time! Yes, I am sure I will order more plants from this seller and do recommend them. There is nothing more annoying than ordering plants and having them show up puny, sick looking or too wet or dry and suffering from the lack of care. None of that with these big healthy plants.
