It made my make up routine soooo much better! I used to get light from behind, from the ceiling lamp which was pretty useless when applying make up. This little portable lamp has changed my life! It's very bright, perfect to apply make up on your face.I use it with batteries as I don't have a plug, so convenient!My only criticism is for the battery compartment: make sure to use a knife to open it, otherwise you will break your pretty nails!I'm not sure how long the batteries last (I use rechargeable ones), but given a 10-15 mins use daily it should last pretty long on one charge.
