The sound system is about 30 years old.** A: I have mine connected to my turntable, tape deck, CD player and receiver, all of which are minimum of 20 years old or older and I have no problem. The Bose 161 has a 2 way pivot mount so I can either do up and down or side to side depending on which direction I mount it.
