I guess when you are used to real air conditioning this unit just does not measure up. Initially, when we added water and turned on the unit it stunk something fierce. We live in Northern California with an average humidity of 10-15% and after running the unit it added so much humidity that I thought I was in Louisiana. All it does is add noise, humidity and cooling is not even in the picture.
