I usually purchase items from the Amazon Warehouse markdown section, since it give me an opportunity to send an item back. In this case the difference in price was only $4, and New is always better. Was really not sure what to expect, since I was looking for somthing compact and durable to use to shoot eBay photos (not sure if I can use that word or Amazon or not) anyway, the is exactly what I wanted. It looks like a portfolo because it opens up to a small light box. It comes with two lights and 4 color panels and one small tripod. What I like is that you have room to add extra lights (or in my case a $10 full size tripod & top quality table tripod) It is built to what I consider Military Standards, and will fit next to a small gap next to my dresser. I could perhaps follow the norm of the reviews and rate this poorly because i am an idiot and am upset because i can't use it to take a picture of my 60" LCD TV even though the size of the lightbox is listed. Or complain because it is not the same quality as another set that sells for $250. It was a nice surprise to find a buy like this for around $40. I would recommend buying it new and not used if the price is only a couple dollars. The case is nice to be able to store everything away after each use. My only issue with this product is the lights. I wish they were adjustable up and down. They sit very low so I have to stack books of the like to get the hight I need for taking my photos.
