So the answer would no. You could flange it out if you had to make it work. **Q: what is the diameter of the bottom hole of the recessed box? 1.5” or 2” and is it threaded?** A: Both, 2&1.5”, 2” pipe slips over the connector and 1.5 slides inside of the connector of the box. No threads, it is for solvent connections. **Q: does this come WITH the air admittance valve as shown in the picture? is that for 1 1/2 drain vent, or 2"?** A: Mine came with everything shown; air admitance valve, mounting box, and the cover plate.
