Only tried it with standard 3 mil thermal paper. No bubbles, heats fast. Also I like that the box it came in is large enough (barely) to keep pouches in when being stored. I've had several other units in past and this is best so far. ### ⭐ Do Not Buy. I started using it and got exactly 5 cards laminated before it misfed the 6th one. Now it is stuck somewhere in the feeder and I cannot get it out. I have tried everything in the instruction manual to get it out of there and it will not come out. I could not even get 6 items done before it broke.
