Install it in areas where the main system's built-in alarm siren may not be heard such as a porch or rear entrance that is located away from the main panel. I returned it as defective and received a replacement but that one did not work any better.I don't know if there is a problem with the main system panel or the range of the sirens themselves and MACEAlert tech support were not able to help. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Usually works *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 24, 2014* Wireless siren doesn't trigger every time. Could be mounting location. It is loud when it works which is most of the time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't work with "Alert" mode *by P***Y on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 12, 2014* Siren is loud but will only work when alarm is set in "alarm" mode not "alert" mode. So it will not make any sound it the chime signal is sounding while in "alert" mode. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1155817-macemace-security-mas-wa-sir-macealert-solo-extension-alarm-siren](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1155817-macemace-security-mas-wa-sir-macealert-solo-extension-alarm-siren) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
