Review: Great bang for your buck - I bought these for my 2022 WRX, without the HK audio. The speakers sound great even though I am running them off the stock head unit. They have great clarity in the highs and mids, however these do lack a deep bass sound. For $100 dollars this pair is amazing, and will be a perfect upgrade for most people. If you want to shake your car these are probably not the speakers for you, but if you're looking for a quality upgrade these are perfect. Now, the install difficulty will depend on your car, and your general skills. I found an amazing video on youtube for the install on my car and would recommend anyone else do the same. My install for the driver door and passenger door took about 45 minutes total. It can definitly be faster, but I took my time. For my car I needed to buy a few other things in order for these to fit without modifying my car. I had to buy a harness that connects to my car and connects to the spade connectors on the speakers. By doing this I didnt have to splice anything which is a plus for me on a new car. I also bought a mounting bracket that fits perfectly into my car and hold the speakers right where they need to be. If you are thinking about buying this I would reccommend that you do your research for the install on your car, but in terms of the speakers these are perfect.

**Q: Do these speakers need a resonance chamber behind them as you would build for woofers?**
A: It needs that and then some. Not a warm sounding speaker. You really need to not expect much, however the mods and highs are clean. With the chamber and a crossover you will clean up the lows and highs with the high pass out to these. I hope that helps.

**Q: Will these fit in a 98 dodge stratus?**
A: Check Sonic Electronix online. You type in the year, make and model and it will tell you the speaker size you need along with its location. I recommend everyone look there first.

**Q: Thinking about getting these for my 97 ram 1500.  Are these the best bang for your buck?**
A: Not if you want mid bass or any bass that doesn't distort. You will need a crossover for the high side is worth it. I recommend infinity kappa series for two range or 3 range sound.

**Q: Will these fit a 2018 Nissan Sentra?**
A: These are a standard 6x9 replacement speaker.

Several car audio websites listed these speakers would not fit the rear deck of my 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I found it a little hard to believe due to the fact the stock speakers were 6x9, and so were these. The only other issue I could think of is maybe these were a little too tall and would not fit the stock speaker grilles, which snap around the area these install into. Since this car was my "beater" I figured I could just leave the grilles off. Well to my surprise not only did they bolt in with no modification needed, the stock grilles fit perfectly! Combined with these and the Metra "turbo wires", it took less than 10 minutes to install them. The sound is very clean and the bass is great. I think those who complain of no bass have a factory stereo with a low-frequency filter. My pioneer has a selectable bass boost option and can make these speakers feel like they are going to come unbolted from the car! At the time of writing there is only $3 in difference from the 2 way and the 3 way, so it only makes sense to get the 3 way speakers!
