They are pretty sturdy but since they are two giant mouse ears and a bow they will still be a bit unsteady at times and I actually really like that they sit more towards the front than falling off. Great for Disney at a reasonable price!

But, the design is perfect for just walking around the park. It doesn’t cause headaches like the ones the parks usually sell!

I love that they are adult sized and the headband is tight enough to stay on but doesn’t give a headache. I bought 3 pairs and had to glue the ears to the headband. I didn't realize they were not glued on properly. I will never buy ear on Amazon again. I would only buy from disney direct. Very poorly made.
