I read where on reviewer stated the speakers are cheaply made and one broke on installation. Here's what you need to know: The speaker terminal wires fit super tight (as you'd want for a boat that takes a pounding on the water). Hold the wire connecter on each side with your fingers and gently rock it back and forth, not using too much force and it will slide on, just be patient.
