You can choose what noise is played and when very young we used the white noise option and it worked a dream. As soon as my son made a noise it would click back on and he’d drift back off to sleep. To be honest, both me and my husband also sleep better with it playing! Now our sons older at 10 months we have switched to playing the lullaby and he knows it’s time to sleep when we turn it on and put him in his cot. He’s put down awake and asleep in minutes. He also plays with it when he wakes up which gives us some time to feel human again at 6am. Batteries tend to last us 4-5 days so we grabbed rechargeable ones and a fast charger, perfect solution! This is by far one of our best buys as new parents and it looks lovely in his cot.
