They say to season again so I seasoned and it came out blacker, great. Then I read to season several times so after the second seasoning things went south... After 6 seasonings I was for dumping it... After the second seasoning I cooked bacon, stuck like hell but I just thought normal. Next day I fried 3 eggs, all stuck but not so bad but the pot was thick with oily grime and I had to scrape it off... I seasoned a further 4 times and things were really going south... My first photo is after the 6th seasoning, the second is after the 7th... What I did differently on the 7th round was heat the pot on the regular cooker ring first then added veg oil when hot and the put in oven at about 220 celcius for 1 hour, this seems to be the trick. This is not on their instructions but it seems to have done the trick for me, for now.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal cookware for camping and woodstove! In a time when supply chains are seriously compromised and so many people displaced, we are all so vulnerable to things way beyond our control, I am reluctant to ask for anyone to go the "extra mile" ; So, I felt badly troubling Jason at "Crucible" for this item; but, it would have been useless to us without the lid. And he went to a lot of trouble to help us. And honestly, in these times, it's a miracle that any business can function. So, 5 Stars means more than it has ever meant. Thank you, Jason!
