Anyway, the waterproof qualities of this coat is remarkable. When I was finally able to test it out in a hard downpour, I was amazed at how dry I was after 20 mins of standing under my ease troff drain pipe. All four outer pockets double as vents and the hood is well shaped for style, comfort and usefulness. The draw strings tuck out of the way into neat little slots and the cuffs velcro so same doesn't slid over your hands. The Zipper is a little tight to start, but it's not an issue. I bought this coat for fall, spring and winter camping. If you buy this coat you will be amazed at the attention to detail that the people at OR have focused on.
