Review: Good quality. Easier to install than window tint. - We have narrow windows on either side of our front door. It's been a headache trying to figure out how to create privacy with them. Nobody sells blinds that narrow, curtains looked weird, and our attempts to DIY install traditional window tint went poorly. Thought I'd give this a try and I'm glad we did. It's not nearly as finicky as the window tint was. I was able to install it cleanly on the first try and am happy with the results. It looks intentional and if I didn't know it was film, I'd believe the window was just frosted glass. I strongly suggest spending $10 on one of the "window tint kits" here on desertcart for the install. They come with an exacto knife, which is precisely what you'll want to cut the excess film with. They also come with the little trim lifter tool you'll want. Basically, you'll want to clean the window first with windex. Then use a spray bottle with water and a couple drops of dish soap to wet the entire glass with. Apply and smooth the film, leaving some overhang on each side. Use the exacto knife to carefully cut the film where the glass meets the window trim. The last step is how you get clean edges: use the tool from the tint kit to carefully lift the edge of your window trim, and slide it around the entire length of the window on all sides. This will let the edge of the film sit under the trim, rather than butting up against it.

There is little difference between the frosted and the white frosted, they all provide good privacy protection. The white frosted is whiter than the frosted, and the frosted is more transparent than the white frosted. It should be noted that at night, if the inside light is very bright, people outside may see the inside. Of course, the privacy protection during daytime is very good.

This was so easy to put on! We used it to add to our glass doors in the TV stand to hide games etc. There are bubbles, but they can’t be seen because there’s no sun behind. Definitely could have used a card to scrape them out. Had no issues with edges being uneven. Took off one star because we had to take the corners down, but otherwise love the product.
