I have tried 3 different traction devices since I was diagnosed, all purchased through Amazon. One of the devices requires me to do actual squats with a neck/head strap, another requires me to hang it over the door and wear a strap around my head/neck and sit still with my back straight, and still another required me to inflate it and sit still. As you can see, all required me to do some amount of work. Not this device...all I have to do it hang it up on my door (and make sure it's locked in case someone decides to come in), and lay down with my head on the device. The hardest thing about using this device is actually being so comfortable you fall asleep in it! Anyway, if you have herniated cervical discs, I highly recommend this item. Easy to use, and it helps take away any nerve pain that results from cervical disc pain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I havent felt this relieved of pain in YEARS. *by K***N on April 10, 2019* This weird device actually works for me. I was a little skeptical when I first saw it but decided to give it a try to relieve my chronic tension on my neck and shoulders and was not disappointed. I have many medical reasons that cause stiffness and tension and chronic pain in my neck and shoulders and that pain runs into migraines so i am constantly searching for relief. The first night I tried it I think I slept weird and didn’t drink enough water so I was soooo sore the next day and got a migraine. BUT I did it again the next night and made sure to drink plenty of water, grab the most supportive pillow to sleep with, and stretched out my neck in all directions before bed, and I haven’t felt this relieved of pain and tension in YEARS.The set up is a bit confusing because the directions are vague and it took me a minute to realize that you don’t need both of the straps to hook it to a door, one is for hooking it to a pole, but I figured it out.I definitely recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had to get creative with it *by V***. on July 14, 2019* I really wanted to love this as I looked at several different neck hammocks and their reviews on amazon. I ultimately went with this one and it's just okay. I got it because they used a neck hammock at my PT and it really helped me a lot. My PT sessions ended and I needed something to be able to continue at home.My first concern is that the my head wouldn't stay in the hammock itself. It kept sliding out which can be dangerous if you're head drops out onto the ground. To remedy that, I had to take off the ear pad which are useless to me and more of a nuisance and then fold the hammock in half as it was just too big and wrap it with a hand towel. Finally my head stays put!My second concern is that the straps are elastic which doesn't give me the full traction effect that I got at my PT's office. This seemed to be the case with all the neck hammocks I saw on amazon though so I didn't really have much of a choice on this.
