**Q: I have a 3.5' water tank I want the pump to go on when the water level is down 2' and off when it is full, how do you set this up with on float? do yo**
A: For you the most difficult part will be figuring out how to attach the float switch to the tank at the desired height. The top of the switch should be at the 2 foot mark

**Q: It says it can be converted, if it's mounted downward, is it a closed circuit or open?**
A: It can be - what you want it to be - open or closed. By removing the C - clip and flipping the float over!!! I purchased 2 to control my sump level on fish tank - ea energizing a relay which then - I can energize the water ( make up) solenoid- hope this helps
