The stitching is very good on this hat with some portions being reinforced with back stitches. The fit is more like a 62cm with no adjustment so it is not tight at all unless the wearer wants it to be, with the bungie drawstring at the back. The material is light weight rip stop, which is very nice for hot environments. The brim is not rigid at all, far more loose than my other boonie hats.
