## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use it to shut off cold water on a 3 handle shower valve , to change the o-ring on the cold water side?**
A: I would assume you could use it if you could access the supply inlet. My honest answer is that I have absolutely no experience with three handle shower valves so my opinion will probably not be of any value to you.

**Q: Does it work on pvc pipe?**
A: I replaced four worn-out brass hose bibs that were soldered to 1/2 inch copper pipes.  I used this tool in each case to block the flow of excess water to sweat solder threaded copper connectors.  The  tool works great to stop (rubber part expands) water from leaky shutoff valves.

**Q: Will this tool fit through an angle stop when the stem is removed?**
A: It will fit through, but not all angle stops.  My suggestion would be to sweat on a threaded fitting then install a threaded angle stop.
Option B with minimum water,  is instead of using jet swet. pack day old bread into the copper, swet on the fitting then turn on the pressure and bread will flow out
