That being said, be aware that the manufacturer sort of "forgets" to tell you what else is need to set it up... like a POWER SOURCE & the one we finally found recommended has to be adapted to use it for this lock. Secondly, if you don't want to be constantly plugging & unplugging it, you will need a "switch".... & not the one shown that says "OPEN" which will only work the brief time you are touching it. We finally put an in line toggle switch at a comfortable height & now WE LOVE IT! We turn it on at night & off during the day....
