The video works great but.. I cannot get the IR headphones work. Any ideas? Tried chan a and b** A: I'm going to ask... But did you use audio out of the head unit and run to audio in on the headrest... My ir headphones work fine ....any it headphones work also... **Q: can you connect it to ur car audio instead of headphones** A: Yes....but these are just monitors ..no DVD player built in. The audio will come from your DVD player. I have a pioneer in dash navigation DVD player combo . So the audio comes from my stereo, but have audio cables to the headrest monitors , so when I'm on long trips. The rear headphones work while I listen to music. **Q: What type of power sourced is used? Do they need to be connected to the cig lighter or does jt get its juice from the head unit?** A: It depends on your preference actually... They do NOT plug into a cig light power plug, but you CAN have them wired to your direct 12V power OR to your head units power.. the finer details will depend on your vehicle, head unit, etc.. The setup I used in my truck, I tapped into the cig lighter power plugs supply under my center console, and this supply shuts off when the vehicle does.
