Review: pretty and delicate (Lavender perfume oil) - Lavender is one of those scents that is done over and over and over again, I guess because it's fairly easy to replicate and people like it. As I have been collecting Demeter scents I kept putting off purchasing the Lavender because I figured no matter what Demeter's lavender smelled like, I would have already have smelled it. However, it still managed to surprise me- it smells like *actual* lavender, but also fresh and pretty- there's a hint of green to it that I wasn't expecting. It's not the perfect lavender (which probably isn't pure lavender- I love when fragrances add a hint of violet or citrus to their lavender) but it's beautiful and delicate.
